About

for about the last year, i have had the privilege of contributing to the blog of the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale University. before i began posting there, i had plans of starting a blog that would focus on the study of Edwards, covering a wide-range of topics important to that end.  such a blog would not only deal with Edwards’s life and works, but would also deal with Edwards’s later legacy and other events in the religious history of colonial and early republic America.

my time at the JEC blog has now come to an end and so my plans for an Edwards blog of my own have been revived and, obviously, realized.  my expectation is for this blog to be a compendium on modern Edwardsiana.  in addition to general essays regarding Edwards and his time, this site will contain book reviews, information on relevant conferences, news of the latest additions to Edwards scholarship, great deals on books found around the web, and maybe even some interviews with noted Edwards and early American religious scholars.

i hope this will be a profitable venture, one that will contribute to the furtherance of Edwards studies, and one that will be helpful to those who happen upon this site.  i hope you enjoy what you find here, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me through the link at the top of the page.
